Recently I went to Reno, the discount gambling center of the West Coast. I noted the billboard at the airport advertized "Welcome to Reno. You Can Afford Us."

... I am glad I have not been single for decades. I hate to think what dates could do with the body-worn cameras these days. ... The sign that it was time to quit is when a presidential candidate says he is withdrawing from the campaign and you think, "I didn't know he was running." In fact, 2015 is setting records for the number of candidates dropping out who we were completely unaware were in the race. I was going to list the names, but we're not going to remember them anyway. ... There has been a lot of publicity about the thirtieth anniversary of the movie, "Back to the Future", which debuted in 1985. But they've been cutting back on ideas for sequels. In the latest proposal to be ditched, "Back to the Future, Daylight Savings", actor Michael Fox's character forgets about the time change and merely ends up an hour in the past trying to make it to all his missed appointments. ... The news reports were saying Lamar Odom spent $75,000 for the exclusive company with two ladies in his four-day stay at the ranch. I was trying to do that math and that comes to, uh, never mind. The proprietor of the "ranch" where the ex-pro basketball player was enjoying some R&R received quite a bit of publicity from the recent unfortunate events that put Odom in a coma. As I always say, it's an ill wind that, ... er let's stop there.
