I can see the bumper sticker of the future "My Toaster Is an Honor Student at..." ... The buzz over Artificial Intelligence has produced a lot of talk about whether robots can ever be truly human. We will know they have achieved true humanness when we have the first robot street walkers. .... In a newly discovered episode of Star Trek—the Next Generation, Data is judged to be truly human when he develop a system to teleport Canada Geese to a planet set aside for them. Also as part of the plot, we are introduced to his much taller and heavier brother, Big Data. ...
