The product is also described as having self-driving business functionality that will automatically perform repetitive tasks. Built on Unit4's People Platform Premium Edition, BWO bases those capabilities on predictive, event-centric and pattern recognition technologies, the company said. The platform offers technical capabilities such as an open integration layer and a composite app development kit enabling customers and partners to build applications and processes on top of Unit4 applications. The system also provides unified workflow so that Unit4 applications can work together. In what turned out to be his last press release before being replaced, CEO Jose Duarte said, "We're delivering a completely new software experience to these organizations. Modern, simple to use, fully mobile business solutions which address the front-office and help differentiate." [Help differentiate what, I'm not sure. I would have added a word.]
