XERO COURTS THE NAMES

Rod DruryXero, the New Zealand-based cloud application, is getting ready to come on shore with a bang.  And its CEO Rod Drury has been doing a good job getting himself and his product in front of influencers in this court. Earlier this month, Jim Bourke, principal of WithumSmith+Brown talked about how good the product is and how is seems to scale well beyond small business.
That very day, Gary Boomer was coming back from a visit to New Zealand and a week ago, Drury talked with me while attending one of the Boomer Technology Circles in Kansas City. It seems clear that product has also been vetted by the K2 Enterprises consulting gang, although Randy Johnston didn’t seem impressed as Bourke. Xero begin its more official push in October when Sage veteran, Jamie Sutherland, takes over as U.S. managing director.
