BLYTHECO PICKS UP SUGARCRM
Blytheco, Sage's largest reseller in the United States, has picked up SugarCRM. In a prepared statement, CEO Steve Blythe said the open-source product line would be "a strong option" for many of its customers.
SugarCRM has been doing a good job of selectively picking up resellers, both form Sage and other vendors. But the fact that Sage was disappointed by its CRM results for the year ended September 30 and the CRM group has been reorganizing suggests that Sage has a lot of work to do and is vulnerable to its channel looking to bolster product lines.
