The AR payments company named Christy Johnson as chief product officer and Barrett Smith to chief payments and customer operations officer. It also made Christina Wedge VP of channel partners. Johnson, formerly VP of product management, joined the company in April  after serving nearly four years with Capital One where she was senior director of product management, growth products, from February 2022 until joining Versapay. Before that, she spent five years four months at EY Digital in management positions. Smith came to Versapay in January 2022 as SVP of revenue optimization and became head of payments operations and optimization in August 2023. He spent more than four years as a self-employed consultant and prior to that spent from 2012 through March 2020 with Global Payments where he was VP of finance of worldwide pricing and analytics from 2015 until his departure. Finally, Wedge was hired by Versapay in March as director of strategic partnerships. Before that, she spent less than a year with PayTech Trust and a year with Acumatica. Her career included two tenures with Sage. In the first, from December 2009 through December 2016, she served as director of strategic partnerships. She was with Sage again from July 2019 through July 2021 as director of partner enablement and recruiting.
