XERO PICKS MARKETING HEAD Featured

Jeremy Wood, XeroXero has hired Jeremy Wood to the position of head of global marketing. Wood will have responsibility for marketing for the company’s New Zealand headquarters and for all of its in-country marketing teams. Wood was employed by Google starting in 2005 and was most recently that company’s head of SMB co-marketing for the Americas.

Before that, he was the APAC SMB marketing manager for  Google Apps. Xero  also promoted Duncan Ritchie to the position of chief platform officer. He is responsible for design, development, operations and support of Xero’s online accounting software. These duties were previously managed by the COO. Ritchie was previously general manager of operations for Xero and managed IT and operations teams.
