Ariana GrandeMissed the defeat of the University of Kentucky basketball team because it was broadcast on Turner and we don't have full cable. I also missed the broadcast of the traditional sacrifice of the losing coach in Lexington. I hear it was accompanied by the usual assortment of chanting Druids and the sacrifice of a goat and the reading of its entrails. ... I have had a lot of requests about my singing recently. But I'm posting videos of it on Facebook anyway. ... While I was singing, a friend was putting down newspapers. "I have a trained voice," I protested. "Yeah, but I'm putting out the papers just in case."

... There was a lot of buzz about whether Justin Bieber was threatened in a tweet by Big Sean for allegedly groping the latter's girlfriend, Arianna Grande, during her concert. Big Sean's spokespeople later denied he tweeted a threat. We were not surprised that Justin could be accused to doing something awkward. Most of us were more surprised to see evidence Bieber had reached puberty. It's too bad the animosity wasn't real. They could get a lot of mileage about a feud between Big Sean and Little Bieb. ... TV pitchman Dell "Super Dell" Schanze was in court, accused of kicking a barn own while he was riding a motorized paraglider. When the judge asked for a response, Schanze replied, "Who?" The incident was alleged to have occurred in February or March 2011. Schanze denied kicking the owl, but offered to engage it in a best two-of-three encounters. ... This just in, Alex Trebek was denied final expense insurance based on his health. ... PBS plans to rebroadcast its classic "The Six Wives of Henry the Eighth", followed by "The Seven Wives of Larry King." I guess it just proves Kings often have many wives.
