RANDOM THOUGHTS: STORAGE WARS

Brandi Passante, Storage WarsDave Hester, one of the members of the popular realty show, “Storage Wars” was fired after he complained the show was completely faked. That included planting valuable items in lockers that were up for bid. Fake? I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked.
The next thing we’ll find out is the Karsdashians are famous for no apparent reason or that nobody in New Jersey acts like Snooki. … But “Storage Wars” is a great show. There’s so much excitement of people crowding in for a better view. And that’s just all the guys hoping Brandi Passante will show more cleavage. Then there’s the stuff in the lockers. [And did anyone seriously think I would put a picture of Dave Hester with this item?] But the real tragedy would be finding out they’re fake too. That would really cause viewership to go down, er deflate, well something like that. ... "Brandi's like the girl next door." "Girl, next door. Are you kidding?" "Well, she's the kind of girl I'd like to see next door." "Yeah, and  you'd be living in locker." … I told my wife I was watching this great concert on TV that I thought was sponsored by AARP. “AARP?” she asked. “Yeah, look at all those old musicians.” “What are you talking about? That’s the concert to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Sandy? There was a real disaster at the Jersey Shore.” “Yeah, that was a pretty awful show.” ,,, While I was typing at the computer in another room, she yelled out, “The Who” is on.” “Who?” “Yes the Who.” “What?” “No, the Who.” “Who is on TV?” “Yes.” “Who?” “I just told you.” “Who is singing?” “Absolutely.” “Who’s on next?” “I don’t know.” “Third base.” … Later my wife asked if the “The Who” was still singing? “Not really,” I replied. “Funny,” she said. “I thought they were on stage.” “They still are,” I commented. “As I said, not really.”
