With its concrete dome failing to stem the oil pouring into the Gulf of Mexico, BP has begun considering some other nontraditional solutions. These include using millions of pounds of Italian bread to soak up the oil and having most of the boys in Holland stuck their fingers into the hole.
…The New Jersey economy is picking up. Bribes to politicians have risen by 14 percent over 2009 levels. However, with the construction market still weak, kickbacks remain soft. The good news is that, given the passage of the healthcare plan, kneecappings are showing a steady increase. …The economy hurt the popular “Bodies” exhibit in Manhattan last year. The show is still open, but that had layoff 15 percent of the bodies. It wasn’t a pretty site. Especially after the weather got warmer. …  Having a teenager remains the promise of new and interesting experiences in life. As in, “Is there a reason there’s a circular saw in the back of my car?” You know how kids are. When they’ll go out and build something on somebody’s lawn for the heck of it. … My daughter passed her observation as an enumerator with the U.,S. census. I told her I’d always felt she was in need of observation. … Been surprised that after President Obama promised to put a man on Mars and conservative groups haven’t mounted a fund raising campaign to send him. …. And in a modern update of “The HoneyMooners”, Ralph is forced into anger management classes after threatening Alice with “One of these days, to the moon …”  And a sad note, after the success of the recent movie, Iron Man went on a binge and passed out during a severe rain storm and rusted beyond repair..
