Continental Airlines served lunch on its flight from Newark to Denver, one of those piping hot meals in a sealed plastic bag. This one was called the Turkey Dog Crescent. I think it must be the first breaded product ever made by Goodyear … Combining the trend of sequels and summer movies, there's a new offering coming out this season called "X-Men, Summer Vacation." In a more light-hearted look at the mutant world, the film shows the gang raising some extra cash. Wolverine works as a meat slicer in a deli, Cyclops takes a job smelting iron and Storm goes to work performing simulations for the U.S. Weather Bureau. ...
Saw a headline yesterday declaring that a scientist claims to be the first person to create artificial life. Actually, I think the honor goes to the late Strom Thurmond for his last term in the United  States Senate. ... After getting tired of eating food on little plates at the Sage Insights conference I started looking for a real meal. I saw one place I decided I'd pass on, The  "Rocky Mountain Oyster Raw Bar." There's another chain in the works, if marijuana is ever legalized. It's called "Rocky Mountain High" a combination head shop and snack distribution center. Of course, I still have to achieve my dream, a restaurant called, "The Heat Lamp." It serves those comfort foods from the Jersey Shore and convenience stores such as hot dogs that have been withered away on one of those rollers and zeppoles that have been kept warm since the last ice age. ... I'm getting ready for a Gulf Coast vacation and am looking forward to enlarging my collection of sea shells, tar balls, and plastic bottles. ... Just got my daughter a very good car, a 1999 Saturn that was driven by our church administrator who is moving to the Louisville, Ky. area. I was thinking, "W're taking a car driven by the church lady and giving it to a teenager. Great."
