RANDOM THOUGHTS; PBS

PBS is following up its ageless Six Wives of Henry the XIII, with a more contemporary “The Eight Wives of Larry King.” Both series demonstrate that marrying a king can be risky business. ... I got one of those typical notices from my insurance company, "This is not a bill." I sent back a letter saying, "This is not a payment." The latest holiday drink is the Mint Macchiato Rudolfo with a dash of reindeer fur for that taste of the season. ... I was looking for a short line at the airport check in so I came prepared. Seems kids were getting whips and leather goods in their stockings after the elves spent too many nights with a drink called the “Naughty Latte” At the end, Dog urges Santa to change his ways and wishes all a happy holiday after collecting the bounty. Dog also gets a special Holiday gift after he cuffs all the residents of the Island of Misfits Toys and hauls them back to face justice. He gives the Abominable Snow man a share as a finder's fee.
