SWK'S NUNES JOINS MICROACCOUNTING Featured

Brian Nunes, MicroAccountingBrian Nunes, formerly head of marketing for SWK Technologies, has taken a job with MicroAccounting. Nunes' job change comes as Livingston, N.J.-based SWK is in a state of flux following the departure of CEO Jeff Roth in May. Nunes had served as SWKs VP of marketing, channel, and strategic alliances from June 2015.

He took the position of chief demand officer with Dallas, Texas-based MicroAccounting this month. Roth resigned a few days after the company reported a 37.8-percent decline in product sales as part of its financial reports for the first quarter ended March 31. Since then, there have been some significant personnel changes. The company's COO Paul Frydman took the same position with Net@Work at the end of June. The company named Diana Kyser to replace Frydman and hired Andrew Nunez as chief sales officer. Despite all the changes, SWK reported a strong performance for the second quarter ended June 30 with a 29-percent rise in product revenue and an overall revenue increase of 44.9 percent while earnings jumped sharply.
