Matt Keenan, ApteanAptean has retooled its best-known CRM application with Pivotal 6.5. The company says the latest edition "features a completely redesigned sales automation user experience that enables secure, mobile access from any laptop, desktop or tablet." The new Pivotal gives mobile users the ability to create emails, appoints and tasks, while also having access to calendars. Mapping functions enable users to determine a customer's location and routes there.

There is also an Action Center via which users can create dashboards by adding graphs or searches. In a prepared statement, Matt Keenan, VP of Aptean's CRM Product Group, said. "Pivotal 6.5 delivers real solutions—specialized sales capabilities, including customer, contact and opportunity management—and real results that will provide the productivity and efficiency that salespeople require both in the field and in the office." The Pivotal line has both Sales Force Automation and Marketing Automation modules. Among Aptean's other CRM lines are Onyx CRM and Saratoga CRM.
