RANDOM THOUGHTS: PRINCE HARRY

Prince HarryI don’t see why there is such an uproar in Great Britain over naked pictures of Prince Harry. After all, tourists by the millions come to the country to view the royal, excuse me, crown jewels. The 27-year old defended his actions saying, "I have nothing to hide." The pictures were published by a Rupert Murdoch newspaper, the "Sun". It's good to see that newspapers continue to take a stand on the important issues of our era.

Gaylord Opryland, Delta IslandSomeone asked me if the charges for the ATM at the Gaylord Opryland hotel in Nashville were high. I replied, “Well, it demanded ‘Give me all your money and don’t say anything.’” I won’t say that the two scoops of gelato I got for $6.01 were small, but the server offered me a magnifying glass along with my spoon. Watching the Olympics, I yearn for the old days in competition with the Soviet bloc athletics, back when men were men and so were women. For the next competition in Rio, there will be a new demonstration sport, rhythmic synchronized bowling in which competitors are judged on style and how they balance their beer cans.

Very happy to see the Caymans Islands represented in the Summer Olympics. The competition of their world-class banking team is expected to be fun to watch. Mitt Romney is expected to be a lock on the Caymans’ electoral vote although that will be countered by Obama's sure win in Kenya.. … In sad news, William Staub, the inventor of the indoor treadmill died about two weeks ago.
